Why not get the most out of your phone, if that phone allows you to? The same question can be asked if we refer to a tablet computer. If that tablet uses the GPS navigation, a GPS receiver and who knows maybe a transmitter as well, why not use all of these capabilities with a GPS application created for the Android devices? I am talking about the GPS Status & Toolbox created by EclipSim. This app has been reviewed until now by more than 33000 reviewers, which have offered to it 5 stars. This is one of my reasons for which I have selected this application, from the large range of apps created for the GPS functionality of a tablet or of a smartphone.
The position provided by the satellites which are the source of this app is very accurate, no matter the speed with which you're going. This little software program includes some other tools, such as a compass that indicates the north, a leveling tool, the possibility of marking your position and letting your friends know where you are, although I would not do this (you know how many things happened when other people, bad people, found out that you were away from your home) and the possibility of navigating in those places where you have been before, on a later date. I mean the information remains in your tablet, only that you will access it when you will have the time. If you are driving, most likely you will not be interested to see what are the locations that you can visit 5 miles ago or 10 miles ago.

Like any other app created for Android, you'll need Android 1.6 or later in order to use this app. But this should not be a problem, because today, there are released products that use Android 3.2 or later. This product has been installed by a lot of people; if you enter the Android Market site, where this app is presented by its developer, you will see that the number is somewhere between 1 million and 5 million.

This app is free and it has 455 kb; so if you had any problems that you will have to pay to get information from those satellites that represent the sources of this app or that you will not have enough room in your tablet to store another application, I believe that those issues have been solved by my previous phrase.
