I don’t know what application to present first. I have already presented Tourality, which is truly the application for which I would buy an Android-based device, just to play this game, but I have to get one to my friend and another one for my other friend and so on. That is a game that is played in a team and all the members of the team must have the application installed on their smartphones, so.. it is a bit expensive if you lack the hardware.
The next app is more individualistic created, if I can say this, because with a single touch, you can share your location with your friends. I know, they also must have smartphones and this app installed, which by the way, is free, but this does not imply that you need to collaborate with them in order to reach to a certain point, like you do in Tourality.
Android Tablet App
Believe it or not, this application is much more popular than the other one, because it has been downloaded by more than 5000 people. If you remember correctly, Tourality was installed by only 1000 people. These are the data that appear on the Android Market site. The manufacturer is Creative Workline.
I will present all their apps, because I simply love this producer, because they had this great idea of inventing the video games that can be played outside. I don’t know if there were others before them who had this idea, but I only heard of them and if I did hear only of them, it means that they are the best in what they do.
Android Tablet App
With this app, One Touch Location, sharing the location is an easy job, even for those who do not really use their smartphones, for other thing, than to talk on the phone. You can discover a whole new world, if you just enter the Android Market site, which is filled with interesting applications. This is a free app and you must run Android 2.1 operating system to use the app.
Your friends who will see your location, will receive a notification via mail or SMS, with a link towards the Google Maps, showing them your exact position. We are told that the app runs perfectly on iPhone as well, so don’t despair if you don’t have an Android-based device. The category in which this app is included is Travel and Local.11
