Just like you don’t install a Mac OS on a Windows computer, it is also not recommended to install the Linux operating system on a device that has Android installed. And why would you do this? The Android devices are among some of the best in the whole world. I know that the Linux operating system is free, but if you get an Android tablet, you pay the money for that tablet, why would you want to change the operating system? I hope you realize that you switch from an operating system for which you paid a certain amount of money to a system that you can get for free from the Internet.

If you want a tablet that runs the Linux system, you should get a tablet that has this system installed from the first moment. It is difficult to change an operating system. Until now, so far, so good. The price is a bit high, but this tablet has been named the potential iPad killer. There are many Android 2.2 tablets on market and even though the Android 3.0 version has been released some months ago, the 2.2 tablets are still very searched for. One of the manufacturer that creates Android 2.2 tablets is ViewSonic. Of course, they create the hardware components, the software programs, meaning the operating system being created by someone else (by Google-Android), but the hardware is usually connected to the software.

I mean, if you design a certain device, that is supposed to run Android 2.2, then that device may or may not be able to run Android 3.0 that easily. There are cases in which, with all the upgrades that you can bring to your device, that device will never run a certain operating system or a certain application. This is why I said the hardware is very connected to the software components. And when these are not made by the same company, like Apple does, there can appear some issues. Luckily for many, the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system is still very powerful and in many situations, if the user wants that, it can be upgraded to a later version, without too many headaches.

The ViewSonic company did a great job when creating the ViewPad tablet, that has only 7 inches in diagonal, that uses the Google Mobile Services and which uses an ARM11 processor. What would you say if in this article I will discuss about the most powerful tablet there is on the market today? Don’t start yelling, because I will not talk about the iPad, I know many people consider it as being the best, I consider it being indeed very good. I don’t possess this tablet, nor the tablet that I am going to review, but I have heard many positive reviews about this one in fact more than about the iPad, this is why I have said that this is the best in the world. Probably, this fact is because this is a newer tablet and you know how the people are, always attracted by the new things.

A fact that this tablet is very good and has good performance is demonstrated right now by the Amazon site, where you cannot find a new device, like this. And I am talking about the Motorola Xoom tablet, which does not have a price for a new product (it is like I say, priceless). The only prices that we see are the prices for the used products. This is what I can give you for the moment: $490. In this price, you don’t get the transportation costs, they are separated from the actual price of the device you are buying. This is on Amazon and on every site from where you buy things online. Because the transportation cost is connected to your location. If you live far away from the Amazon branch, in another country perhaps, then the cost will be higher.
