This is not the first Android tablet that I present taking into consideration the characteristics of this device as they are presented on CNET.com, because I have done this one hour ago, and for today I have selected another manufacturer. I was asked to write a review about a CNET tablet and one hour ago I have selected Lenovo ThinkPad 1838 tablet computer, a tablet that obviously ran the Android operating system; for today, I have selected to present another tablet, that uses other version of the operating system than the one used by the Lenovo tablet. I am talking about Archos 7 home tablet that comes with 8 GB in the storage capacity. This product has a black color and it is considered a good product on CNET. It has received 3 stars from the editors of this site and also 3 stars from users.

This product has the price of $129.88 and the quick specifications of this product will be presented next. We are told that the operating system ran by this device is Android, without a certain version. I know that Archos tablet usually used Android 2.2 operating system, unlike Lenovo which uses Android 3.1. But I believe that the newest version of Archos can also use Android 3.1. The products type is Web tablet, the part number of the tablet that we are reviewing here being 501521. The screen size has 7 inches and the display resolution is a regular resolution, coming from a screen this small: 800×480. The color depth is of up to 16.2 million colors.

The Flash memory is of 8 GB, as I have said before and the supported Flash memory cards are the micro SDHC cards. The tablet benefits of the Wireless standard which allows the users to communicate with their friends on the Internet without using wires, just like the regular desktops. There is no GPS navigation integrated in this device and if you want to use a global positioning system, you should by a product that is dedicated to this feature. There are integrated some audio components, such as a microphone and a speaker.

Even though on CNET and not only on this site the people is talking about the death of the one that was Steve Jobs, I will try to browse through all the articles related to him and go to one presentation of an Android device. Probably this is a day where we should talk more about the Apple devices, but because I do this every day and I will do this today also, I have thought to start my day with some Android news. We were asked to write a review about a very popular Android device and not only on CNET.com, but in the whole wide world. And because all the Android devices that are presented on CNET are good, I have thought to present the first one that comes to my mind and in the front of my eyes, which is Lenovo ThinkPad tablet 1838.

This product uses the Android 3.1 operating system and has a price of $509. The technical specifications are presented on CNET.com, but they will also be presented in our article. Other products that may interest you when you think of buying a Lenovo ThinkPad 1838 are: another Lenovo ThinkPad tablet, only that having a different number, Lenovo IdeaPad K1, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Asus Eee Pad Transformer and so on. But because we are here to present the best Android tablet, I will present this Lenovo ThinkPad 1838, just as I have said before. First of all let me tell you that the part number is actually 183823U and the products type in which this tablet computer is included is Tablet. No kidding? I have thought that probably it is included in the Football category. Joking.

Of course the best PDF reader for your mobile device (I am talking now only about the Android devices, although Apple iPhones and iPad can also use it) is Adobe Reader created by Adobe Systems. The application is free and it has been the released for Amazon on June 24, 2011. Another PDF reader, only that this time a paid application is ezPDF Reader developed by Unidocs Inc. Probably the beginning of the name of the application wants to suggest that this is an easy to use application.

Aldiko Book Reader designed by Aldiko Limited and released on Amazon on March 22, 2011 is another great app. I am a little bit surprised to see that Adobe Reader benefits of only 3 stars while the second app named by myself in this article, which has a price of $1.99, because I haven't mentioned the price, benefits of 4 stars. Nevertheless, I will start my presentation with Adobe Reader; usually when you read a PDF file on your computer, you don't experience the kind of problems that you can experience while you are using a mobile device. For example, the viewing quality may not be equaled by a computer, which has the best resolution ever for a PDF file. Well, what Adobe did with their apps was to re-create the resolution that is capable from your computer to your mobile device, without actually creating the hardware parts.

What they have done was to transfer a PDF file and a very good resolution on a small screen. You can see the PDF files as they really are, which is amazing. This application can be moved to your SD card, as long as you don't want to occupy the place in your mobile device with another application. Although I would not do this, because this is the kind of app that you want to have always in your device.

So we have established that there are hundred of developers in the case of Android, but how we can know exactly how many of them are? You can start by writing Android on Google or if you want to see what are the most popular Android manufacturers, you can enter Amazon and write the same thing. You will discover there a lot of products that are created for the United States market, products that run the Android operating system. If you write this on Amazon.co.uk, you will find the products that can be bought in the United Kingdom and in general in that part of Europe and let me tell you that some of the products that you can find in the United Kingdom you cannot find in the US as well and vice versa.

I know that I have presented several apps with quotes as well, and I can say that some of them made me sad and I know why, because they present to us information that are taken directly from our lives, you don't have to read something to realize that this is happening also in your life. This is why I prefer the jokes, because they make me laugh, even though some of the jokes are taken directly from life situations as well, which are not all the time funny.

A joke presented by this app sounds something like this: “I called your boyfriend gay and he hit me with his purse!”. Well girls, definitely he is not gay. He has a person, but he's not gay. Well, you have your point, but let me present to you my point of view regarding this situation. As long as you run the Android 2.2 operating system, it means that you can download virtually any application that is developed for Android 2.2, but also you can download applications that are created for the Android 1.5 operating system or for Android 1.7 and so on.

When an application is designed for Android, the developer always says that the application is created for a certain version of the operating system, such as: “it is developed for Android 1.5 or later” or “it is designed for Android 2.1 or up”, this meaning that if you run Android 2.2, you are included in that category according to which you are allowed to download the application on your device.

For today, I have thought to present an application that has never been presented by myself before, this is why I want to present it now. I am saying this, because I usually come back to the applications that I love and sometimes I write 2 or 3 articles related to one application about which I have plenty of things to say. If you run Android 2.0 indeed, unless you don’t upgrade to Android 2.1, the minimum OS required by the developer, you will not play the game.

On this site, I have presented so many Android 2.2 tablet computers, that now it is the time to present also some software programs, also known as applications, that are developed for this type of operating system. It is true, now we have Android 3.0 apps, but the apps that are created for Android 2.2 work also on the later versions of this operating system. As long as you want to download an application developed for Android 2.2, you can use it on Android 3.0, but never on Android 1.5. I hope you have got the idea.

I have thought to present a free application, that has been reviewed by more than 80 customers (I better say users, because you don't actually “buy” this application) as having 4 stars. This application is called Scanner Radio and it is developed by Gordon Edwards. What do you think this application does? First of all, let me tell you that this type of application is destined only to children that are at least 9, children that can understand what a radio station does and that are attracted to music or at least they start to be attracted by music tracks. This application scans the nearby radios and allows you to listen to the music provided by them. You can also integrate your favorite radios into one category that is named Favorites. As long as you have more than 50 radio stations that can be caught by your smartphone or Android tablet, you can add them to another category, that is named Top 50.

You can also contribution with your own review and rating, just make sure that you will provide only accurate information related to that radio that you are reviewing.

In today's article, I will present one application that you can also download from Amazon and in the article that I will write next, I will present another one. The first app that I would like to present now is Swamp Defense and the next application will be Stellar Escape.

I had to look twice at the name of the developer, because I don't want to do any mistake in spelling it. This application is destined to children, as long as they are older than 9. The description of this application starts with the next phrase: “Run for your lives!”. You have to protect the swamp from the monsters that are attacking it; it may seem easy, but trust me, it is not, because the monsters with which you will have to find rely on their best weapon, which is their ugliness. You will have to combat 8 types of hideous monsters that appear from the swamp.

If you have weapons, you can fight with them in a more easy way and managed to kill them rapidly, but the weapons are expensive and you don't really have enough money to buy them.
