On Walmart I have found enough information about the Archos 101 tablet computer that allow me to present this tablet also in order to offer you a large range of tablet computers from where you can select your preferred one. On this site, I have presented many tablet computers, thanks to the sites that sell electronic products. One of these sites in many occasions was Walmart.com. In today's article, this site plays an important role again.

This tablet computer costs on Walmart $249 and it has 4 stars. This product uses a TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen display, that has 10.1 inches in diagonal (this is why the name of the tablet is Archos 101), the device uses the Android 2.2 operating system also known as Froyo (more information about this product on the android.com site), the display resolution is of 1024×600, the internal memory has 8 GB, the tablet being compatible to the microSD cards, it comes with many preinstalled applications, such as Wikipedia and eBuddy, it uses a lithium polymer battery, the included components being the standard USB cable, the starting guide and the power charger.

The key features of this product are the unique Android multimedia applications, the innovative photo browser, the easy connectivity to other electronic devices, peripherals and TV, the possibility of reading e-books in other words the opportunity of using this device as an e-book reader and many others. 70% of those who have bought this product would recommend it to a friend. When I review a product based on the reviews made by others, I like to see the positive and also the negative comments about the product. In the case of this tablet, I can see that there are more positive reviews. One user says that this is the best tablet so far, another one says that it uses some good hardware, while another one says this tablet is just ok.

While you are on the Walmart site, you can ask questions related to the products that you want to buy, just to make sure that you will not experience the previous problems that you probably experienced with another similar product. Let's see some cheap tablets that are presented on the Kmart.com site. They must run the Android operating system. The first product that I would like to present in 2 paragraphs is the Velocity Micro Cruz T301 7 inch capacitive touchscreen Android tablet. This product costs $199.99 on Kmart. If you think that $200 is a high price, you should see some other tablets. Ok, now let's move quickly through the specifications of this product. I will start with the storage capacity of the device, because it seems that this is the first feature presented by the manufacturer and by the seller alike. Here we are talking about 4 GB, that come from an SD memory card.

This is the integrated Flash memory. If we are referring to the RAM memory of the device, we have to say that this is of 256 MB. The supported Flash memory cards are: SD memory card and SDHC memory card. This device uses the 802.11b/g/n standards for the Wireless technology. The screen size is of 7 inches, as I said in the first paragraph and the display resolution provided by the tablet is of 800×600 pixels. This product benefits of integrated speakers. The interface of the product presents one USB port and one headphones output. The operating system included in this device is Android 2.0; the manufacturer offers this product with one year limited warranty.

And now let's present another tablet computer which can be more used for the e-book reader function of its, tablet computer created by Efun and sold for a price similar to the price of the previous product: $229.99. Here I'm talking about the Nextbook Next5 7 inch resistive touchscreen Android 2.1 Etclair tablet computer. Finally, a product that doesn't start by presenting the internal storage capacity that it has. Instead it starts by presenting its dimensions: 0.4 inches (depth), 8.4 inches (height) and 6.3 inches (width). Let's mention the weight of the product, if we are at the Dimensions chapter: 17.3 oz.

Now let's present the Flash memory: 2 GB integrated in this device. The supported Flash memory cards are the same as in the case of the previous model. On the dealextreme.com site, I have found this Android 1.6 tablet computer, that has 8 inches in diagonal. This device is produced by Android itself. The processor and has a speed of 800 MHz, the actual speed being of 533 MHz. The processor is not mentioned, only its speed. The memory is based on the DDR2 technology and it has 128 MB. The capacity of this device is of 2 GB, being provided by the NAND Flash memory.

The storage capacity can be increased up to 16 GB, thanks to the SDHC support. In other words, you can insert an SDHC card in this device and simply increase the capacity. You can even play applications that are stored on that card without transferring the application to your device. If you already have too many music tracks or other games on your tablet computer, you will find it very difficult to transfer an application from the SDHC card to the tablet in order to run that application.

The screen size is of 8 inches, the screen being created using the TFT LCD technologies. Here we are talking about a widescreen touch display, providing resolution of 800×600 pixels. Let’s enter for a few minutes Amazon.co.uk and search for an Android tablet. One of the first tablets that attracts our attention is the Disgo tablet 6000 with touchscreen and Android 2.2. The price of this tablet is of 68.99 British pounds. Unfortunately, I can see that 17 reviewers, who have already bought this tablet from Amazon, have offered 3 stars to this tablet. This is not such a good scoring, taking into account that there are many other tablets brands on Amazon that have received 5 stars.

The processor of this tablet runs at 1 GHz, the memory has 256 MB and the hard drive has 2 GB. This tablet uses the Wi-Fi standards, the lithium battery provides 3.5 WHours (this is the energy content), the number of the cells used by this battery being of 2. The screen size is of 7 inches, you have direct access to YouTube, your e-mail address, your social media, preferred games, photo collections, preferred music tracks, videos and more. Some applications are already preloaded, such as: YouTube, the e-book reader application, Slide Me and more.

The weight of the product is of 721g, this product needing 2 lithium batteries. The first time when this tablet appeared on Amazon, the British version of this site, was on September 1, 2010. This product occupies the 1325^th position in the Computers and Accessories category on Amazon. This is not the best tablet in the world taking into account the reviews made by some, but I would recommend it to those who want to see how a touchscreen device functions and who want to get used to the Android operating system. In the package, besides the tablet, you will find the owner’s manual, a power adapter, an USB cable, an USB adapter cable, a carrying bag and a 2 GB microSD card.

I was thinking to review an Android tablet, but from these many choices that are on market I don't know what to choose. Nevertheless, I shall enter Walmart and see what are the available Android tablets that can be bought from there. Great, right now I am looking at the images of an E Fun Nextbook Next3 8.4 inch touchscreen entertainment tablet. Unfortunately, I also see that this tablet has received only 3 stars on Walmart from 33 customers. If 33 persons believe that this is a good tablet, not extraordinary, then they must be right.

Let me start with the price of this tablet which runs the Android operating system: $199. The screen size is of 8.4 inches, the screen being created using the LCD technology, a technology that allows the users to have lower electric bills. The maximum resolution offered by this device is ok, taking into consideration the screen size: 800 per 600. The operating system is the 2.1 version. The internal memory is of 1.1 GB. Let me tell you that until now I haven't seen this amount of internal memory on neither of the tablets that I have reviewed. There are 23 Android tablets that are present on Walmart. I will name each and every one of them, without presenting their characteristics; you can find these in by entering the site.

They are presented in the list, taking into account the best match between the keywords that I have used and the words that are used by the manufacturers, when they describe their own products. The first tablet presented in the list is a tablet that costs $218, created by Wintec, namely the Filemate Light tablet. Then we have the Acer touchscreen 10.1 inch Iconia Tab. Another entertainment tablet and e-book reader at the same time is the Archos 10.1 touchscreen tablet with Android operating system. The Boss Electronics 2182 Android 2.0 tablet is in the list as well. The next tablet is Pandigital Planet 7 inch Android tablet computer. Kaser has created a very interesting tablet, costing only $138 and having the name of Net’sGo tablet. This is not comparable in terms of price to the Toshiba Thrive tablet that cost $479.99. The next tablet is also a Toshiba product, only that cheaper: $429.

The E-Fun Nextbook 8.4 inch touchscreen entertainment tablet is present on the Walmart site among other Android systems. The Velocity Micro Cruz T301 7 inch touchscreen tablet is a tablet that I would recommend to all those who want to try an Android tablet, that comes with a touchscreen and offers e-reader possibilities. Not mentioning that this tablet costs only $178. After this, we have another Acer tablet and the ViewSonic touchscreen entertainment tablet, that costs $298. Archos is present one more time with their 4.3 inch entertainment tablet, closely followed by iCan 10 inch tablet computer. I'm sorry to say but the last tablet that I have named, even though it costs $448 and it seems that it is a very powerful tablet, or at least we can form this opinion based on the price of the tablet, it has been reviewed as having only one star.

ViewSonic is an electronics manufacturer, that has many products available on different sites online. One of them is the ViewPad tablet, which may have 7 inches in diagonal or 10 inches. In this article, I will present the first version of the tablet and in one of my future articles, the other one.
