Three of the cheapest tablets on market remain Velocity Micro CRUZT410, Le Pan II and Archos 501897. Also, it includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU clocked at 1.2 GHz and a 6-cell Lithium Ion battery which allows you to use it for up to 7 hours. We also mention that the tablet uses Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system and measures 0.5 inches height, 9.3 inches width and 7.4 inches depth.

It is harder to find Android 2.1 tablet computers nowadays, when Android released the 3.2 and 3.3 operating systems. But I have managed to find an Android tablet that runs this operating system, created by MiniSuit, tablet that is named Zenithink 10, because the screen size is of 10 inches.

Of course this tablet is a touchscreen device and the price of this tablet PC is of $189.98. The technical details of this product are: the processor of this device is created by ARM, being a ZT-180 model, the display has 10.2 inches in diagonal, it is created based on the TFT digital technology and it provides a very good resolution (1024×600), that ensures clear images and a high accuracy of the colors, the lithium battery has a capacity of 2000mAh and the built in stereo speakers use 0.5 W. There is a microphone incorporated in this device, one RJ-45 SD slot, 3 USB 2.0 ports and an internal memory of 2 GB. The RAM memory has 512 MB and it uses the DDR2 SDRAM standards.

I am glad that I have accessed the British version of the Amazon site, because in this way I got to see some interesting tablet computers, that are not available on the American version of Amazon.

In this way I have discovered a very interesting Android 2.1 tablet PC, that was created by VanguardTech tablet and which is sold for £118.29. The screen size of this tablet has 7 inches and the display is based on the TFT technology, being a touchscreen. The display is made of liquid crystals and it provides a resolution of 800×480. The processor is created by ARM and it is an ARM1176JZ processor, having a speed of up to 800 MHz.

The operating system is Android 2.1 but it has support that allows you to upgrade it to Android 2.2. At the Software chapter, it is said that this tablet computer supports more than 40000 software programs. I don't know how they have reached this conclusion, if they do not know the exact size of the programs that you may install. Anyway, you can store 40000 programs in it… Great! The tablet has a DDR2 memory, which functions at a maximum speed of 400 MHz. It has support for 3D games and applications, being extremely appreciated by those who use this tablet as a GPS. The maps are presented in 3D.

This tablet is a member of the Toshiba family of products, of which we can also mention W100 and AC100 smartbooks. The Folio 100 tablet can load its operating system in less than 30 seconds, which is Android 2.2. In this time also, it loads some interesting applications, that can be upgraded in time, if the developer releases a new version for those apps.

The battery offers 7 hours of runtime, according to this site, if you use the tablet for Web surfing, time in which you play videos as well. If you perform a single activity, such as browing the Internet for interesting stuff, without using the Wireless capabilities, you can obtain more than 7 hours, but this only at the beginning. In time, the battery will lose its energy.

Even though the name of the next gadget sounds more like the name of a satellite of Saturn or Jupiter, I can assure you that we will discuss about a tablet PC. The name: Coby Kyros. This 4 GB tablet comes installed with the Android operating system, being equipped with a touchscreen, a 1 GHz processor, intuitive controls that are powered by the Wireless technology, popular apps and access to the AppsLibs marketplace.

The feature that I like most when talking about this tablet is the HDMI connection. This is a tablet that has only 7 inches in diagonal and if you want to watch a movie, then this experience will not be that pleasant, when compared to watching a movie to a 21 inch TV. So, because of this disadvantage, the engineers thought that it would be a great idea to place the HDMI port, so that the users to be able to connect the Kyros tablet to a larger screen. The resolution that would be provided in this case will reach the high definition standards.

The Aldiko E-book reader application is installed along with the OS, application that gives you access to thousands of books. The photo formats that are used by a computer, are used by this tablet as well. So, you don’t have to save the photos only in .jpg format or only in .bmp format, as you may do in some other cases.

You may return the product to Amazon within 30 days from the date of the purchase. If you fail to do that and if you claim that there is a malfunction with the product, you will not be refunded, and the product will not be replaced with another one. Nevertheless, the product will be repaired from that period on and/or during that period, but only if the warranty conditions are respected. I know I have discussed about the Coby Kyros tablet before, but this time I will not present the technical specifications, but what you can do with this tablet.

And I will start with browsing the Web. Being an Internet tablet, this is the main activity that you can perform with this tablet. So, if you are a home user and you would like to have a home tablet, then Coby Kyros is for you. This does not mean that professionals cannot use this tablet. If your work relies very much on searching on the Internet for the most interesting things and then chatting with your colleagues about them, in this case we can say that the tablet is good for professionals as well.
