Sungale’s Beam ID702WTA and ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101-A1 are two of the cheapest tablets on market. Given their low prices, the two models do not share too impressive technologies but they are for no doubt able to offer solutions for some of your daily needs. Unlike the Sungale model, this ASUS is already part of both best-selling and top rated tablets on market, being priced in the region of $380 – $400. So, if you do not have enough money for a brand new expensive tablet, try out one of these two products.

Sungale’s Beam ID702WTA is much cheaper than the second product as it costs about $170 only. But –as you probably expected – it features much lower performance than the ASUS one. For example, this tablet only offers 2 GB of storage capacity, which might not be sufficient for your dozens of multimedia staff. Thus, you can barely save hundreds of photos or games never-mind songs or other multimedia files such as videos and movies.

But here are some of the details this tablet includes. The system is powered by a VIA WM8650 processor running at 800 MHz (+300 MHz DSP). Your multitasking activity might not be too efficient as the tablet only comes with 256 MB of system memory. Instead, the model is still able to support Android 2.2 operating system and offer wireless LAN connectivity (802.11 b/g).

The display measures 7 inches and features multi-touch screen so you can manipulate your folders with some ease. Also, the product includes a digital media card reader which supports microSD but also a couple of high-speed USB 2.0 ports. As for the sizes, the tablet measures 0.6 inched depth, 7.5 inches height and 5.6 inches width.

Regarding the second tablet we want to present you, this ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101-A1 is worth about $400. The price might sound expensive but once you try this model you might want to have it. Using a NVIDIA processor, this tablet delivers you a very remarkable performance as well as an irresistible display which measures 10.1 inches and features a 1280 x 800 resolution and IPS touch screen technology (including Gorilla glass).

At the same time, it shares 16 GB of storage capacity and 1 GB of system memory so you can run more applications simultaneously. Furthermore, the tablet comes with two cameras (front and rear), meant to improve your video call activity and entertainment one. Unlike the Sungale model, this ASUS uses Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system as well as a NVIDIA Tegra 2 graphics. As for the connectivity, it is sustained by a wireless LAN, 802.11 b/g/n. You are also allowed to transfer plenty of data from external sticks and cards thanks to a 4-in-1 media card reader which supports two formats, namely Secure Digital High Capacity and microSD. Finally, the tablet measures 10.7 inches width, 7 inches depth and 0.5 inches height.

Do you know which are the tablets that have already experienced their 15 minutes of fame, but still have many years of popularity to come? Probably you don’t suspect this, because they are not that described on our site, but they definitely represent the future in tablet computers. Read on to find out.

Only by taking a peek at the technical characteristics of Fujitsu tablets, because they are the tablets in question, I can say that they have much to say from now on. First of all, they use a very popular operating system, they are similar to laptop computers, they can be transformed into a laptop and they benefit of high development technologies regarding the screen, the hard drive, the battery and other internal components.

Future Android Tablet Pcs (Source: maxcdn.liewcf.com)

Speaking of the storage compartment, they use a hard drive, not a Flash memory as most of the tablets do. For example, I will take the Fujitsu Lifebook T731 tablet PC, which runs the Windows 7 Professional operating system, uses an Intel Core processor – the second-generation (i3-2330M), an Intel HD Graphics 3000 video card, benefits of the integrated Bluetooth and Wireless technologies and uses a fingerprint sensor, for higher protection of the data. The screen size of the Lifebook T731 is of 12.1 inches. The owner of this device can use also a digital pen, for improved accuracy. The integrated camera with dual digital array microphone allow the user to get familiar with the best video chat experience. The memory is of 2 GB (DDR3; 1333 MHz) and the hard drive is of 250 GB. There are laptops that are still manufactured with 250 GB storage capacity; so when I have said that this is the future in tablet computers, I really meant it.

These are some of the most important characteristics of this product. But I haven't mentioned anything about the price yet. This configuration with the i3-2330M processor, that has a speed of 2.2 GHz and 3 MB of L3 cache, has a starting price of $1199. There are some other configurations available. One comes with the same processor, but with other internal components; the price is of $1299. And there is also a third one, with an Intel Core i5-2410M processor, with a speed of 2.3 GHz and 3 MB of L3 cache. This version of the tablet costs $1549.

Android 2.2 Application

Oct10

Can you believe that on the Android Market site there are more than 1000 applications that are related to Japan? I am amazed to see this, but I believe that if the Japanese are so many, it is natural to see thousands of application related to Japan. There is one particular application that I like that allows you to translate from Japanese to English. The application is named Japanese Translator (English) and it is developed by MJ world. The app was updated on September 8, 2011 and the current version is 1.0.1; you need Android 2.3 or later to download this app that is included in the Education category. The size of this app is of 1.6 MB and it has been downloaded by more than 1000 people.

They say that this application is free in this month; we are not told if from November, this application will become a paid application or, if you download this app in October, will have to pay something in November in order to use it. The application translate from English to Japanese as far as I can see in the description of this application, even though when I have seen the name of this application I was tempted to say that it works vice versa. The rating of this app is of 4.8 stars.

Because I have presented this app and there is nothing more to say about it, I will present another one, also related to Japan. The name of the application is Japanese Hot Spring Heaven and it is designed by Nec Biglobe Ltd. This app presents 4000 hot springs or even more. Too bad that the screenshots present only texts written in Japanese. You can see how the teas are made, what is the boiling time and where are the locations where you can serve this type of teas.

That's about it is with this second application also, because I don't get to read the reviews about this app, nor the texts written in the screenshots. So I will select another one; this time I have selected an app that is developed by Kobunhada, application that is named “I like castle in Japan”. However, with all the regrets coming from the developer, this application is not ready in English yet. So, as you have understood by now, it is available only in Japanese. I believe that this should be a very interesting application, when it will come in English. The average rating of the app is of 4.5 stars, the application is free and it has 3.4 MB. You need Android 1.6 and an Android device obviously.

So are you interested in some PowerPoint applications that are created for your Android device? If you are indeed, you are at the right place, because today I will discuss about Quickoffice Pro, an application designed for Android in these, app that allows you to create, edit and share Microsoft Office files. All on your Android device. Now you can mobilize your Office with this little app. I'm saying “little”, because the app has 5.9 MB. This is a paid application, but according to those that have downloaded this app until now, it is worth all the money. The current average rating is of 4 stars, coming from 2851 reviewers.

The application is described in a video by its developers and we are told from the beginning of the video that this is an advanced tool that allows you to transfer some of your work from your computer to your mobile device. The Microsoft Office files that can be created and edited with the help of this application are Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. The app has a very nice interface, it allows you to access your recent documents, just like you do on your computer, you can use Dropbox, Google Docs and other little software programs.

You can benefit of cloud services, some of them were already named in the previous line, but there are some others: Huddle, mobileme, SugarSync, Box and others. Let's see how the application functions. Let's say that you want to work with Microsoft Word, open a Word document and edit the text. Let's say that you want to bold the text, before doing this, you have to select the words or the phrases that you want to be bold and after this a new window will open on the screen, window that is named Font Format. There you have the possibility of selecting the font as you want it to be, which is bold, italic, underlined or strikethrough. Then, you have to select the font face, which is in our example Cambria, you have to select the font size or leave it as it is, select also the want color and the alignment. The highlight color can be also user selected.

When you have done making all your changes, you have to click on Ok and then discard the changes, save the changes, save them as a certain documents or cancel the operation. When you click on Save as, you can save documents to another location than the original location where all the documents go. This is how you deal with this application when you want to edit a text in your Microsoft Word documents.

Android 2.2 Tablet Multi Touch 7 Inch

It seems that our users start to become more and more interested in specific Android products, because before we were asked to write reviews about the Android 2.2 tablet computers or Android 2.1 tablets, but now we are asked to write reviews about Android 2.2 tablets that have 7 inches in diagonal and which use a multitouch screen. So the features that should be on that tablet computer that we present are more and more important; our users are not only interested in the tablet that run a certain version of the operating system, but they are also interested in the screen size and the possibilities of the tablet of connecting itself to the Internet without using wires.

It is like when searching on Amazon, for example, for Android 2.2 tablets, only that now you must write besides Android 2.2, 7 inches also. Let's see what we can find out on Amazon, since I have selected this seller. Taking into consideration that there are 3 characteristics that are important for our user, probably Amazon will experience problems in providing us with the perfect device, but we should not give up. It seems that I have found the perfect Android tablet that complies with all the requirements that our user has requested us. The name of the tablet is Herotab; it comes with a Samsung processor, that has a maximum speed of 1 GHz, the total price of the tablet being of $194.88. This is the price of the product today, October 5, 2011.

This device benefits of a capacitive multitouch screen, it runs the Android 2.2 or 2.3 operating system (just like our user wants), it has 4 GB internal SD space, but it supports 36 MB and if you believe that $194.88 is too much for you, you can buy an used product that has a price of $170. As long as you order this product today you will receive it on Thursday, October 6, 2011. The product is eligible for free super saver shipping, although you live in the United States and if you also comply with other requirements.

I recommend this product to all those who that need an Android device, people that are willing to get a version of this operating system which is not that used anymore, because now we have Android 3.3 and these devices are the future. This product is manufactured by Herotab and it is powered by Samsung. 48 customers have agreed that the product should receive 4 stars.

Android Apps For Media Tablets

Oct04

Leave a Comment Written by Monica Elena Ionescu

The apps that you can download for your Android media tablets can be downloaded from the Android Market site, because that is the best source with information related to the little software programs that you can install in your device. The top paid applications today on October 3, 2011 are Cut the Rope, application developed by Zeptolab, Paper Camera developed by JFDP Labs Ltd, PowerAMP Full Version Unlocked, created by Max MP (MSR Limited), Beautiful Widgets developed by Levelup Studio and Doodle Jump designed by a top developer, GameHouse. But these are only the paid applications; if you want to know what are the free apps, you have to check out the top free apps.

I went to present an application that is included in the paid category of apps, app that is named Buka HD and it is developed by Hexage Ltd. I have selected this application taking into consideration the icon of the app; if you want to download a map, never do like me. You should not be attracted to the cover in the book or to an icon of an application that is destined to the Android devices or Apple devices. You cannot say that you understand something from the name of the app, this is why if you want to get attracted to something, you should take into consideration at least the icon. You need Android 2.0 to play this application that has a size of 5.1 MB. The category in which the application is included is Casual. Until now this app has been downloaded by more than 1000 users, but no more than 5000. The application was updated on March 3, 2011.

There are some screenshots with this app presented on the Android site and also a written presentation, but because I don't want to read another review about an Android application, I will run the little short video that will presents to me a better information, plus I will get to know how this app really functions. I have to be honest and tell you that I'm looking at the video and I don't understand a thing. I believe that you, which have a round blue shape fire with something towards the enemies, which are also rounded shapes, only smaller and having other colors. The trick is that I don't see how you can fire; I only see how the shapes that have the same colors rapidly disappear from the screen, probably being hit by one of your projectiles.

Buka is a cosmic girl that you must protect by setting a protection layer. Probably this is why the enemies disappear when you approach them.

Android 2.2 Tablet App

I know that it is difficult to use your handwriting on your Android device, but there is one application that actually allows you to do this. When you want to send a note to someone, you can use a special font to say that you love him for example or love her. But when you want to write notes to yourself, you usually use the fonts that are used by myself when I'm writing this article, that are used by any other editor when writing their own articles. But why do we prefer Times New Roman and why don't we write using other font? It seems that this is the most popular and this does not only happen in Europe, from where I am, but also in America and other countries. There are fonts that are similar to this one, but today I speak about the fonts that allow you to write your thoughts using your actual handwriting.

How can this be possible? Thanks to the application developed by Ben Lee, that is named Handrite Note (there is no spelling mistake, this is how the application’s name is written), you have the possibility of writing notes using handwriting. Isn't this amazing? The application costs $2.99 and it is available for the Android devices. Let's see what is the minimum operating system requirement. All right, I have moved to the technical details of this app and I have seen that you need Android 1.6 in order to install this app on your device. The size of this application is of 653.7 kB and the current version is 1.58. The app is downloadable in about 10 seconds. This happens because the size is smaller than 1 MB.

It is said that there are so many other apps (really? I had no idea), but what differentiates this application from the rest of them is the fact that this one allows you to write in style. You can create and save various types of writing and obviously you will try to recreate your own style of writing as much as you can. This time your piece of paper will be represented by the screen of your Android device. The handwritten notes that are written by yourself can be taken quickly using the screen of your Android.

The application was released on September 25, 2011. This application functions in this way: let's imagine that you are in an important meeting room and you suddenly remember that your notebook is not there with you.
