It doesn't matter if you have an Archos 7 inch tablet computer or in Motorola Droid, you will still have access to the Android Market, from where you can download your apps to make your life more beautiful. The applications that are present on the Android Market site are divided in paid and free applications. There are also some other categories, but these are the most important ones. If you allow me to make a comparison between this site and the iTunes site, from where you can download applications for your Apple devices, in case you have Apple products as well, I think that the way the apps are divided on the Android Market site is better when compared to how the apps are divided on the iTunes site.

And I am saying this believing that no one can equalize the iPhone and the iPad devices. So I believe that the Apple products are better in some regards when they are compared to the Android ones, but when it comes to the presentation of an application on the Android Market site, I believe that it is done better on this site. Every time I want to find free applications in the App Store, I don't have this possibility. I must tell you something, when I do this I don't use my iPhone, simply because I don't possess an iPhone, I do the search using my computer. Probably the apps are divided indeed in paid and free applications, just like it happens on the Android site, only that when I search for apps on the Android site, I also use my computer, not my Android phone, because of the same reason that was presented earlier: I don't possess an Android device either.

Some of the categories that are present on the Android site are referring to games, business, comics, finance, entertainment, lifestyle, live wallpaper and more. Let's present some Android tablets that can be bought from the site named Kmart.com. I will only mention the most important characteristics of the tablet and also their prices. And one more thing (sorry because I have forgotten it); I will mention also the rating obtained by the product that I will name from the persons that have bought the products.

I will start with Archos 28 tablet computer, which obviously has a screen size of 2.8 inches (this can be considered as a smartphone, not necessarily as a tablet computer; nevertheless, it is a tablet), which has a price of $89.99, but until now no one has rated the product. The second is the Velocity Micro Cruz T301 capacitive touchscreen Android tablet that has 7 inches in diagonal and the price of $199.99. This product has been rated and it has 4 stars on Kmart. I suggest you to direct your attention only to the products that have 5 stars. 100 people or 200 people cannot be wrong about a certain product. Ok, we can take into consideration that the producer of a certain product has requested all their family members and friends to say that the product is really good, but no one can have a family of 300 persons, 400 people and more, which by the way, say that we are talking about an excellent product. I did not make any reference to any manufacturer in the world, I'm just saying that I know the behavior of the producers of various items when they want to sell them online.

Another product, which has 3.5 stars, is the ViewSonic 10 Android Wi-Fi gTablet, that has a price of $299.99. Archos is again in the list, with their Archos 32 tablet computer, that has a screen size of 3.2 inches. As you can see the screen size is a little bit larger than the previous model designed by Archos, which was named in our article, only that not even this one can be considered as a tablet computer, simply because the screen is too tiny. But believe it or not this is a mobile Internet device or a tablet computer. The rating of this product is of 3.5 stars and the prices is of $149.99.

A very good tablet computer, which I would recommend always, tablet that I can see it is not rated yet on Kmart (probably because it has a higher price) is the Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi HD widescreen Android 3.0 tablet PC, that has a price of $499. In my opinion, this is the best product.

The availability of the Android tablets is huge. In almost any electronics store you enter or on every site, that sells electronics, you find Android-based tablets. The Android tablets needed to be more in order to compete with a single tablet, that has the same characteristics of an Android tablet. The main competitor of Android is the Apple’s iPad. I'm not saying that the Android tablets are not that competitive or advanced as the iPad, only that if you look to what's happening in the market today, you will see that there is only one touchscreen tablet, that runs the iOS and a large variety of Android tablets, that run different versions of the Android system.

So it is a bit unfair to compare the iPad, which is a single device, that has an operating system, that is run by only one mobile tablet in the world, to an Android tablet, that comes in many shapes and is designed by many manufacturers. In those electronics stores, of which I have mentioned at the beginning of my article, you may not find iPads, simply because they were sold even from the first day. I am maintaining my opinion that the iPad is the best touchscreen tablet in the world, nevertheless, some Android tablets were released, that can be considered the true competitors of the iPad. One of these is the Motorola Xoom.

The people that want a good tablet, not that expensive, a tablet that is not that new, can get a Superpad tablet, that has 10.2 inches, a tablet that costs $192. The operating system of this device is Android 2.1. The tablet has a TFT touchscreen with a resolution of 1024×600. The processor is FlyTouch ARM11, running at 1 GHz. The DDR2 memory has 256 MB. A little too less for those seeking for pure performance tablets. Nevertheless, we have to admit that the technology used in the creation of the memory (DDR2) is better than DDR, thus the amount of memory is the second important thing that matters in this case. The first one is the technology used by the tablet, and at this chapter, Superpad, has an advantage.

The internal hard drive though has only 2 GB Flash memory. Luckily, there are supported 2 slots for the expansion of the hard drive. The device supports microSD cards, with up to 32 GB. Now, I remembered the Asus EEE Pad Transformer, which has a storage space of 32 GB, which is… built-in. This is why if you look to buy a device, such as a tablet or a smartphone, you should enter some sites that offer you this possibility.

One of the sites I recommend is eBay. On this site, you will see some used and refurbished products, but also some new ones. Thanks to the designers of the site, the users have a Search box, where they can type everything they want and the result will be a list with the products, that they have searched for. In our case, we have typed Android 3.0 tablets and the list contains many items, which are available. The first item in the list is the T-Mobile LG G-Slate tablet.

One more thing. This list can be updated day after day and even during the same day, because if the stock with that product is over, the product will not appear in the list with the search results.
