Even though on CNET and not only on this site the people is talking about the death of the one that was Steve Jobs, I will try to browse through all the articles related to him and go to one presentation of an Android device. Probably this is a day where we should talk more about the Apple devices, but because I do this every day and I will do this today also, I have thought to start my day with some Android news. We were asked to write a review about a very popular Android device and not only on CNET.com, but in the whole wide world. And because all the Android devices that are presented on CNET are good, I have thought to present the first one that comes to my mind and in the front of my eyes, which is Lenovo ThinkPad tablet 1838.

This product uses the Android 3.1 operating system and has a price of $509. The technical specifications are presented on CNET.com, but they will also be presented in our article. Other products that may interest you when you think of buying a Lenovo ThinkPad 1838 are: another Lenovo ThinkPad tablet, only that having a different number, Lenovo IdeaPad K1, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Asus Eee Pad Transformer and so on. But because we are here to present the best Android tablet, I will present this Lenovo ThinkPad 1838, just as I have said before. First of all let me tell you that the part number is actually 183823U and the products type in which this tablet computer is included is Tablet. No kidding? I have thought that probably it is included in the Football category. Joking.

The color of this product that CNET.com has reviewed is black, but if you buy all sorts of computers skins for your electronic devices, not only for your computer, you can take a bit of the skin and use it in the case of your tablet computer as well. You can use this type of skins on the furniture as well, on the walls, all the glass, windows and so on.

The display type is IPS TFT, the screen size having 10.1 inches in diagonal and providing a resolution of 1280×800. It presents a camera that allows you to connect to your colleagues that I have mentioned earlier, but also to your friends and it runs the Android 2.2 operating system.

Some tablet computers are so small that they can be considered smartphones and not tablets. The tablet that I want to present today is Archos 28 Internet tablet.

The technical specifications of this product start with the product’s capacity; I don't know why the manufacturers put such great amount of importance on the capacity of a product like this, when in my opinion the most important thing inside an electronic product, especially if we are talking about computers or products that are very much resembling to a computer, is the processor. Anyway, I will start with the internal Flash memory of this device, as the manufacturer started, I just wanted to mention this because I have seen this type of approach, not only on the archos.com site, but on other sites as well. You will benefit of 4 or 8 GB of Flash memory as long as you will buy the Archos 28 Internet tablet. My opinion is that you should go for the bigger amount of memory. If you can benefit of more GB even from the start in terms of storage capacity, why not benefit of this advantage?

Let's see some cheap tablets that are presented on the Kmart.com site. They must run the Android operating system. The first product that I would like to present in 2 paragraphs is the Velocity Micro Cruz T301 7 inch capacitive touchscreen Android tablet. This product costs $199.99 on Kmart. If you think that $200 is a high price, you should see some other tablets. Ok, now let's move quickly through the specifications of this product. I will start with the storage capacity of the device, because it seems that this is the first feature presented by the manufacturer and by the seller alike. Here we are talking about 4 GB, that come from an SD memory card.

This is the integrated Flash memory. If we are referring to the RAM memory of the device, we have to say that this is of 256 MB. The supported Flash memory cards are: SD memory card and SDHC memory card. This device uses the 802.11b/g/n standards for the Wireless technology. The screen size is of 7 inches, as I said in the first paragraph and the display resolution provided by the tablet is of 800×600 pixels. This product benefits of integrated speakers. The interface of the product presents one USB port and one headphones output. The operating system included in this device is Android 2.0; the manufacturer offers this product with one year limited warranty.

This is a review of an Android tablet, manufactured by ZTO. This tablet doesn't have a name of its own, it is simply named a Tablet Internet media player with Google Android operating system and Rockchip CPU. You can buy a tablet like this from Amazon for only $91.99. You are told from the moment you read the name of this tablet that this is a 7 inch touchscreen tablet.

I do not expect to see too much performance coming out of this tablet, but I want to present it, because it is another Android-based tablet, created by a manufacturer of which I did not hear until now. The technical details of the product start with the fact that this tablet runs the Android operating system. It is not mentioned what version. The screen is based on the LCD technology and it provides a resolution of 800×480 pixels, having an aspect ratio of 16:9.

I am glad to see that the Wireless technology is incorporated in this device. You will also get a camera for photo shooting and video recording. So far, so good.
