The product that I have selected for today is related to updates that are received on your Android smartphone or tablet computer, device that uses the next application: Funny Status Updates for Facebook. As you can see, I'm not referring to updates that you can download for your software programs that you use on your Android device, but I'm referring to one application that provides you with funny updates or statuses, app that works not only on tablet, but also on mobile phones.

I have seen that usually the applications for which you have to pay a certain amount of money (usually the amount of money are of one dollar or two dollars) are not that appreciated by their users. Probably the customers experience a barrier or something, which is at a mental level, because they do not download apps that costs one dollar, even if they have paid probably $400 or $500 on their tablet computer, or if they do, they usually provide a negative review over the app that they have downloaded, app that cost them a certain amount of money.

The application has a blue interface, probably because Facebook also is blue and it is very easy to use. This application contains more than 1500 categorized statuses, it has a top 100 status updates, which is extremely funny, it can present to you some funny statuses, that are randomly generated by the system in this application, you can get to use the Facebook Magic Trick (I cannot tell you more about this feature, you just have to download this app), you can receive daily funny statuses from Facebook directly on your mobile phone or tablet, get a backwards texts for the statuses that you read and more, more, more.

I don't want to present one application that is created for Android 2.2, but instead I would like to present to you a site, where you can find all sorts of information related to Android, Apple and other companies that create interesting devices and software programs.

I like very much one of the articles that is presented on the site of that I will mention now: techradar.com, that refers to Android 2.2. This is a very good article about several tips for those that use this operating system. But some other sites also are good, for example I'm talking about androidtapp.com. This site, just like the previous one, allows you to learn more about electronic devices, but mostly the Android devices. But the best site from where you can learn about Android is definitely the site of the developer of this OS and of the most advanced software programs created for this type of devices. The rest of the programs that are created by people that are not Android engineers, creating apps only for pleasure and for some money, but not as a regular job, are called applications and they are not as advanced technologically as the programs that actually left of them to create those apps.

I would like to say that when you enter Amazon.com, because this is my favorite site from where I download music tracks and from where I buy products, when you are in the section that allows you to see what are the Android apps that can be bought or downloaded from Amazon, you can write in the Search box what interest you. For example, if you want to see what are the available applications that allow you to learn more about love, probably love quotes or how to get close to a girl or to a boy, without being too obvious or too annoying, you have to write in the Search box “love”, without the quotes obviously.

Let's make an example; but if you will enter Amazon in November, you have all the chances in the world to find something else that the examples provided by me today, on September 21, 2011. On this site, I have presented so many Android 2.2 tablet computers, that now it is the time to present also some software programs, also known as applications, that are developed for this type of operating system. It is true, now we have Android 3.0 apps, but the apps that are created for Android 2.2 work also on the later versions of this operating system. As long as you want to download an application developed for Android 2.2, you can use it on Android 3.0, but never on Android 1.5. I hope you have got the idea.

I have thought to present a free application, that has been reviewed by more than 80 customers (I better say users, because you don't actually “buy” this application) as having 4 stars. This application is called Scanner Radio and it is developed by Gordon Edwards. What do you think this application does? First of all, let me tell you that this type of application is destined only to children that are at least 9, children that can understand what a radio station does and that are attracted to music or at least they start to be attracted by music tracks. This application scans the nearby radios and allows you to listen to the music provided by them. You can also integrate your favorite radios into one category that is named Favorites. As long as you have more than 50 radio stations that can be caught by your smartphone or Android tablet, you can add them to another category, that is named Top 50.

The Browse button allows you to navigate through your radio stations, the chat rooms allow you to chat with your friends (I don't know if this feature allows you to use your camera, in order to start the video chat) and there is also a button that allows you to add the new radios that have been released on market on your area or neighborhood. Let's see that you listen to one radio station; you can see if that radio is public or not, you can see how many listeners it has and also what is the rating of that radio, rating made by other listeners. You can also contribution with your own review and rating, just make sure that you will provide only accurate information related to that radio that you are reviewing.

If you click on a certain radio station, on the screen of your Android device, you will see the name of that radio, you will see for how long that radio is streaming on your device, how many listeners and how many are in the chat room.

You don't have to get fooled by the people that are saying that if you have the Android operating system created by Android, which is a division of Google or something (it is connected to Google, that's for sure), the rest of the software programs that you install on that Android tablet or smartphone, depending on what you have, should be also developed by Google Android. It is not true; you can install in your device and a software program that you want, just make sure that you will use that program, because if you will not, you will occupy the space in your internal memory compartment for nothing with that application.

For today, I have thought to present an application created for the Android devices, application that is in my opinion more recommended to children. I can see that this application can be downloaded and played, because this is a game, by everyone, but taking into consideration the screenshots that are available online, I believe that this is more an application created for children. The name of this application is Gem Spinner. Not only that it is an app destined to children, but it will allow your children to develop some brain skills, such as the distributive attention. This app costs 2 dollars and it was developed by Tiny Bite Games. Until now this application has received almost 4 stars which is good, taking into consideration that the first time when this application was available on Amazon was on February 9, 2011. In other words, this application is available for more than 6 months on Amazon and since February, almost 100 people have said that this is a good application.

What do you think you are supposed to do when you play this game? We have been asked to write about an Amazon app created for the Android devices. I had no idea that from the Amazon.com site you can also buy software programs that can be installed in your Android or Apple devices. So today I will not speak about the Amazon Kindle application, as you might expect, but about an application that can be indeed downloaded from the Amazon site, because there will be make a connection between this site and the Android Market. I wanted to say this, because there are some users that believe that the applications created for the Apple devices or for the Android smartphones or tablets can be only downloaded from Apple.com or from Android.com, which is not exactly true. You can download apps as you can see from other sites, for example Amazon.com.

Today I have thought to present Spinballs, an application created by Christian Gross, app that has received on Amazon almost 4 stars. The price of this application is of $2.49. I can see that the first image that you will get on your screen has several options, which is natural, that allow you to start the application, allow you to see how this app can be played, because there is a tutorial that tells you all about it, there is a Highscores option, a Settings option and also Info.

If you will enter Amazon.com, the location where this application is described, besides the screenshots that are available there, you will benefit also of a short video, that has only 1 minute and 12 seconds, that will present you exactly how the things are going if you want to play this app. Basically you have 7 circles that contain other 6 little circles that are differently colored; your job is to rotate those main circles in order for the little circles to be arranged one to another, so that they will form a line made of 3 identical circles. If you manage to combine more than 3 circles at a time, you will receive more points. This is a very good game for children, because it helps them to develop some brain skills. I would definitely recommend this game to my children.

This is basically a match three game, only that you will have to rotate those circles in order to make the little circles to get connected. In a normal match three game, all that you need to do is to move one ball to the left or to the right in order to combine it with the balls that are around it.

Are you interested in all devices manufactured by Archos, which run the Android 2.2 operating system? Because I don't know if a product can use this OS when it is upgraded, just like the Microsoft Windows XP computers can use Windows 7 and I don't want to make you confused. For example, on Amazon.com, you can find a product created by this manufacturer that you have requested us to write a review about, product that is known as Arnova, only that on Amazon, it is said that this electronic device runs with Android 2.1 operating system. I don't know if the user that has bought this product from Amazon upgraded the operating system and I don't know either if you can do this when speaking about the Arnova tablet computer manufactured by Archos.

There are products on Amazon and not only, that have within their descriptions this one also: with the possibility of upgrading to Android x.x (I will not mention any version of this operating system; I just wanted to provide a short example). So, there are many tablet computers in this case which can run the Android 2.2 operating system. Even those that initially ran Android 2.0 may be able to use Android 2.2 or Android 3.0, if they are properly updated.

I was very curious to see why I am not able to find an Android 2.2 device manufactured by Archos on Amazon, because it seemed that no matter how hard I have tried, I wasn't able to find a product that ran this operating system (I mean this version of this operating system). I have discovered that Archos 32 comes with Android 2.1 (which was probably upgradable), only that I was not satisfied with this answer and I wanted to find a product that actually runs Android 2.2, as our reader requested us. And because I remembered that I have written about this type of product before and I knew that this tablet computer runs the Froyo version of the Android operating system, which is also known as the 2.2 version, I have entered the official site of the manufacturer and search for more information related to the software programs ran by this device.

One of the users who has bought this product last year in December says that the hardware components of this tablet are very good, but the software programs need some improvements. Let's see what other person is saying; it is considered that this is an awesome product as long as you install the latest update from ViewSonic. So it is also related to the software programs, because the updates are related to the drivers of the components that are inserted in this device or that you use with this device.

Luckily, I have read many positive reviews related to this tablet, this is why I wanted to present the tablet also. I will start with the storage capacity of the device, because it seems that this is the first feature presented by the manufacturer and by the seller alike. Here we are talking about 4 GB, that come from an SD memory card.

This is the integrated Flash memory. If we are referring to the RAM memory of the device, we have to say that this is of 256 MB. The supported Flash memory cards are: SD memory card and SDHC memory card. This device uses the 802.11b/g/n standards for the Wireless technology.
