The tablet computers are created for portability and ease of use; they are enhanced with the Wireless technology, in order to let users to access the Internet whenever they want. So we can say that all tablet computers that are on market today are Internet computers. But some tablets seem to be created more for this purpose than others. ViewSonic is an electronics manufacturer, that has many products available on different sites online. One of them is the ViewPad tablet, which may have 7 inches in diagonal or 10 inches. In this article, I will present the first version of the tablet and in one of my future articles, the other one.

So, the ViewPad 7 has, besides a 7 inch screen, the Android 2.2 operating system, an ARM 11 processor, that has a speed of 600 MHz, it is enhanced with the 3G capabilities, uses the Wi-Fi features, allows the user to connect a microSD card, when he or she wants to have the possibility of using more space, it has a front and a rear camera and many more. The price of the tablet is of £188.95. The size of the hard drive is of 2 GB. The built in storage memory is of 512 MB, but it can be expanded. Speaking of the possible expansions that you can make, I have to mention that the microSD card, which you can connect to the device, can have a capacity of up to 32 GB.

The outstanding connectivity of the tablet provides a multitude of options. Even though the name of the next gadget sounds more like the name of a satellite of Saturn or Jupiter, I can assure you that we will discuss about a tablet PC. The name: Coby Kyros. This 4 GB tablet comes installed with the Android operating system, being equipped with a touchscreen, a 1 GHz processor, intuitive controls that are powered by the Wireless technology, popular apps and access to the AppsLibs marketplace.

The feature that I like most when talking about this tablet is the HDMI connection. This is a tablet that has only 7 inches in diagonal and if you want to watch a movie, then this experience will not be that pleasant, when compared to watching a movie to a 21 inch TV. So, because of this disadvantage, the engineers thought that it would be a great idea to place the HDMI port, so that the users to be able to connect the Kyros tablet to a larger screen. The resolution that would be provided in this case will reach the high definition standards.

The Aldiko E-book reader application is installed along with the OS, application that gives you access to thousands of books. If you fail to do that and if you claim that there is a malfunction with the product, you will not be refunded, and the product will not be replaced with another one. Nevertheless, the product will be repaired from that period on and/or during that period, but only if the warranty conditions are respected. The ARM A8 Cortex processor runs at a maximum speed of 800 MHz, speed that is not achieved all the time, but only when the device is used at its maximum capabilities.

Like any other Internet device, you can connect this tablet to other computers using the Wireless technology. Also, if there is a hotspot somewhere in your area, you can access the Internet without any problems. The operating system is made by Android, the version being 2.2. This is considered some of the best versions of this system, even though now there are Android-based devices, which run 3.0 or more.

Taking into account that there are computers that have lower resolutions and larger screens, I think that you can be thankful that the engineers created this display. Another feature for which you would have to be thankful is the multiple language support. So, everytime you have a problem with the device or the software programs installed in it, you can ask for help by entering the Help Center, that is available in many languages. But regarding the software applications that you might use, if they are not installed along with the operating system by the manufacturer of the device, and if you install the program by yourself, then you should seek for advice in other places. The battery of the MIDnite Nationite tablet allows the user to run the device for at least 5 hours, at the beginning. In time, the energy stored by the battery will get lower, and you will have to replace it with another one, when it is depleted. Those 5 hours are measured, with the Wireless connection on. Without it, you can get up to 10 hours. This depends very much on the other activities that you perform on this Android 2.2 tablet.
